Enter your air waybill number in the format 081-XXXXXXXX where the last digit is a mod-7 check digit (example: 081-12345675). 3. Review the tracking milestones including booking confirmation, cargo received, cargo manifested, plane departed, plane arrived, and cargo delivered/collected. 4. If your tracking status has not updated after 24 hours, contact Qantas Freight customer service through their "Contact Us" page or verify your AWB prefix and number format.

The AWB prefix 081 uniquely identifies Qantas as the issuing airline, ensuring proper routing and handling throughout the global air cargo network. The 7-digit serial number is the unique shipment identifier assigned by Qantas for tracking purposes. The final digit is a check digit calculated using the mod-7 system, where the 7-digit serial number is divided by 7 and only the remainder is used (for example, serial number 1234567 ÷ 7 = remainder 5, making the complete AWB 081-12345675).

Qantas transports live animals under the IATA Live Animals Regulations (LAR), which govern container, ventilation, and species-specific handling requirements for livestock, day-old chicks, zoo animals, household pets, and laboratory animals. Bookings require species-specific documentation and approved containers; book through the cargo team with at least 48 hours notice.
