Enter your air waybill number in the format 134-XXXXXXXX where X represents the seven-digit serial number followed by a mod-7 check digit (example: 134-12345675). 3. Click track to view shipment status, location updates, and expected delivery information. 4. If tracking shows no specific updates after 24 hours, contact the Avianca Cargo office where you shipped or will receive your cargo to verify the status.

The AWB prefix 134 identifies Avianca as the issuing carrier and ensures your shipment is routed correctly through their network and handling systems. The following 7-digit serial number is unique to your shipment, while the final digit is a check digit calculated using the mod-7 method (the serial number divided by 7, using only the remainder). For example, in AWB 134-12345675, the serial number 1234567 divided by 7 gives a remainder of 5, which becomes the check digit.

Avianca transports live animals under the IATA Live Animals Regulations (LAR), which govern container, ventilation, and species-specific handling requirements for livestock, day-old chicks, zoo animals, household pets, and laboratory animals. The carrier is additionally IATA CEIV Live Animals certified, meaning its handling chain has passed the IATA audit for end-to-end live-animal procedures. Bookings require species-specific documentation and approved containers; book through the cargo team with at least 48 hours notice.
